WALL ART

ANCIENT AND CONTEMPORARY CONVERSATION

My inspiration comes from observing nature.
The constant changes of colours during the seasons,
the light and absence of it.
Textures and contrasts within wrinkles and layers,
anything that is not flat attracts me,
the mystery of ageing, raw finishes,
and the inevitable sense of intimacy
that happens when honesty appears.

WABI SABI

Wabi Sabi textured background less contrasting, bit colder tones. Blend of greys, off white and some subtle nuance of Aquamarine and Madre Perla that breathes purity and nakedness.

LIME PAINTNG

Natural waterproof paint made from minerals and pigments.
A vast and accurate pallet of colours to do the background.
On top the layering work, each one needing a day to fully dry.
From the second coating we’ll get closer to the real color reflection of how the paint will look even though it will continue to cure for about two weeks.

STUCCO RELIEF

Layers of different fabrics and paper sheets. White stucco powder and water creates the paste for the texture. Into the stucco relief.

RUSTY EFFECT

Using a pallet of metallic acrylic colours applied with different brushes and spatulas. Creating the rusty effect.
