AN ANCIENT AND CONTEMPORARY CONVERSATION

My inspiration comes from the observation of nature.
The constant changes of colors during the seasons,
the light and absence of it.
Textures and Contrasts within wrinkles and layers, anything that is not flat attracts me, the mystery of aging and raw finishes inevitable sense of intimacy that happens when honesty appears

WABI SABI

Wabi sabi textured background less contrasting, bit colder tones. Blend of greys, off white and some subtle nuance of Aquamarine and Madre Perla that breathes purity and nakedness.

RUSTY EFFECT

I work with a pallet of metallic acrylic colours applied with different brushes and spatulas. Into the stucco relieve.

STUCCO RELIEVE

LIME PAINTNG

Its a natural waterproof paint made from minerals and pigments.
The brand I´m working with provides a vast and accurate pallet of colours to do the backgrounds of the all flat surface. It´s layering work, each one needs a day to fully dry and bring out the real colour.
From the second coat we’ll get closer to the real colour reflection of how the paint will look even though it will continue to cure for about two weeks.
